Summor's House & Pet Sitting Service offers a full range of personalized house and pet sitting services, which include:

• Overnight House/Pet Sitting a.k.a "Sleepover Care" - Signature Service:
  "Is your pet scared of the dark? Do they get lonely at night? Have one of our sitters spend the night to give your pets and home the added security."

  Summor’s "Overnight House/Pet Sitting" Service provides the bonus of heightened security and protection for your premises while you are away. Overnight care will be provided where we will actually stay overnight in your home. We will undertake assignments that run over short and long term periods. Whether you are away on business or vacation, you can be away from your home knowing that your pets, property, and possessions are secure and well taken care of in your absence. Clients can expect complete honesty, confidentiality and respect for their privacy and property. Your sitter will typically arrive at 8pm and depart at 8am the following day.
  

  This is an extremely popular service. We book up quickly, so make your reservations as soon as possible!

  The following services are included as part of
  the Sleepover Care at No Extra Cost:

  1. Maintain a standard of care for your home and pets equivalent to and no less than your own
  2. Taking all responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of your home and it's contents at all times
  3. Provision of Fresh water and food (evening/dinner and morning/breakfast meal)
  4. Cleaning of bowls, cages, play areas, etc.
  5. Cuddles and lots of TLC
  6. Ensuring home is clean and spotless upon your return, and
  7. Basic home maintenance including rotating lights and blinds, bringing in mail and newspapers and home security checks

  "Sleepover Care" can be a good deterrent for potential burglars, and helps keep your pets safe, well-fed and loved. Our Extended Care or Midday
  Visit(s) may also be added to supplement your service.

• Extended Care - Signature Service:
  Our Extended Care service is a great relief for pet lovers who desire "around the clock" TLC for their home and pets. Extended Care is offered on an HOURLY basis (minimum of 4 hours is required).

  The following services are included as part of
  the Extended Care at No Extra Cost:

  1. Maintain a standard of care for your home and pets equivalent to and no less than your own
  2. Taking all responsible steps to ensure the safety and security of your home and it's contents at all times
  3. Provision of Fresh water and food
  4. Cleaning of bowls, cages, play areas, etc.
  5. MORE ATTENTION, MORE CUDDLES and MORE "TLC!"
  6. One 30 minute dog walk and exercise session
  7. Ensuring home is clean and spotless upon your return, and
  8. Advanced home maintenance including plant watering, rotating lights and blinds, bringing in mail and newspapers, bundling and taking out trash and home security checks
  9. Other special request, as noted by the home owner, PRIOR to the house sitters stay

• Midday Visits (morning, afternoon, and evening):
  Daily pet visits are a great relief for pet owners who work long hours, and may be the optimal service for cat/kitten care.

  Visits are available for any type of pet and include feeding, play, litter box/cage/etc. cleanup, lots of attention, and basic home maintenance like rotating lights and blinds, bringing in mail and newspapers, and home security checks.

  Visits can be a good deterrent for potential burglars, and helps keep your pets safe, well fed and loved.

  Our visits last between 25-30 minutes and can be provided at any time of the day you prefer - morning, afternoon and evening.

  For your convenience, 15 minutes can be added to each visit. (Please refer to our Extended Visit/Walk Service below)

  (Please note, the last visit of the day will be at 6pm.)

• Midday Dog Walk and Exercise Session:
  Our Dog Walk and Exercise Sessions provided one on one attention and loving care for your furry loved one.

  Our walks last between 25-30 minutes and can be provided at any time of the day you prefer - morning, afternoon and evening.

  For your convenience, 15 minutes can be added to each visit. (Please refer to our Extended Visit/Walk Service below).

  (Please note, the last dog walk of the day will be at 6pm.)

• Extended Visit/Walk:
  If you prefer your pets to have longer visits or walks, you may supplement your Midday Visit(s) or Midday Dog Walk(s) by adding an additional 15 minutes.

• Travel Surcharge:
  Due to the demands of our travel schedule and the increase in gas prices, we were reluctant to add a Travel Surcharge. These are PER VISIT rates, and are calculated based on estimated travel time from our office, as determined by Mapquest.com.

  To determine your Travel Surcharge:
  1. Go to Mapquest.com
  2. Enter zip code 64128-2470 under DIRECTIONS: STARTING LOCATION
  3. Enter your Home Address under ENDING LOCATION
  4. Click on GET DIRECTIONS
  5. You will see the ESTIMATED MINUTES, which is used to calculate your Travel Surcharge PER VISIT.

  If your home is between 0-9 minutes, there is NO charge for the FIRST visit, however, an additional charge will be applicable for each additional visit during a 24 hour period. Please refer to our Rates page if your home is more 10+ minutes from zip code 64128-2470.

• Additional Pets:
  All prices regarding pets are inclusive for households with no more than two pets. Please see additional pet charges if your household has more than two pets.

• Stray Animals:
  It can sometimes be difficult to care for your Furry Loved Ones and completely ignore those animals that do not have a home. Well, while you are away we will gladly take care of the stray(s). We will, however, ONLY provide provision for food and water.

  Please note, stray animals will NOT be under contract and will NOT be covered under our insurance and bonding. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

• Medication:
  We are able to administer medications, vitamins and provide other special requested care for your pets. However, due to the stress on animal(s), we will ONLY administer medicine orally. If, in the opinion of our pet sitter, more harm than good will result from administering medication, the animal will not receive the medicine.

• Pet Taxi:
  At your request, we will escort your pet(s) to and from the vet, grooming parlor, airport or anywhere they need to go! For vet visits, we will represent you and even provide you with a report of their instructions.

  Our Pet Taxi provides full pickup and delivery service and we promise to work very hard to ensure that your Furry Loved ones have a safe and comfortable ride.

• "Key Ready" Service:
  Summor's House & Pet Sitting Service can either retain your key/code on file or you can choose to have them returned, in which case you will need to contact us when you arrive home to make the necessary arrangements.
  1. Choosing to leave your key/code on file adds more convenience and personalized care! We can be just one phone call away in emergency situations. You may be unexpectedly called away on business, have to handle a family emergency, loose or have your keys stolen or accidentally lock yourself out, etc.
  2. When not in use, your key/code is held in a key storage box and is numerically coded. Addresses and telephone numbers are NEVER attached to the keys and the identifying codes are kept in a separate location.
  3. Please note: Home owners may choose to have their key mailed to their home. However, due to the risk involved with this service, we will mail your key via Certified Mail, only. (Additional charge will apply)
  4. Key pick-up / return fee will apply if homeowner chooses not to keep their key on file. In this case, the key/code must be given to the sitter on or before the day of the In-Home Consultation.

• Pet Supply Pick-up / Miscellaneous Errand(s):
  Did you forget to leave enough food or litter for your sitter? Are you too busy to make it to the store before your big engagement? No worries. We will do your shopping for you! (Additional charge will apply per occurrence)

• Emergency Same Day Visits:
  Do you have an unexpected engagement, meeting or emergency? No worries! Or staff will try our very best to accommodate you during this time, no matter what time of day. (ONLY available to clients with Key or Code on File)

• Holiday Surcharge:
  Our Sitters work extremely hard to ensure your home and pet(s) are well taken care of, and we will gladly continue the same service over the Holiday. An additional charge, however, will apply for all applicable Holidays, which include:
  1. New Year's Eve (December 31st)
  2. New Year's Day (January 1st)
  3. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (3rd Monday in January)
  4. President's Day (3rd Monday in February)
  5. Easter Sunday (March 23rd)
  6. Memorial Day (Observed last Monday in May)
  7. Independence Day (4th of July)
  8. Labor Day (1st Monday in September)
  9. Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November)
  10. Christmas Eve (December 24th)
  11. Christmas Day (December 25th)

• Petty Cash:
  A petty cash account can be set up to handle any expenses or services that require payment. In the event there is no petty cash account set up, Summor’s House & Pet Sitting Service will settle any billing and will add an additional $20 fee to the total to be included on your invoice.

• Yard Poop Clean-up:
  Tired of stepping in #2 and living with health risk concerns of having your dog's poop in your yard? Well, it's time to look out for #1!

  When infected dog droppings are left on the ground, the eggs of the roundworms and other parasites can linger in your soil for years. As a result, dogs, children and others who play in the dirt or step on the poop run risk of infection and can transmit disease throughout your home and to others.

  Let our Scoop Assistants come to your home on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to perform yard pet waste clean-up. During each visit, we will thoroughly clean your yard, double check to make sure your gate is securely closed and place a door hanger on your door to remind you that yard was serviced! And of course, we will remove the waste! Your front and/or back yard will look cleaner, be more sanitary and your pet will appreciate it too!
